Use of the mobile application:  The mobile application is financed  The mobile application is funded by Wallonia and the Commune of Houffalize as part of the “Smart Region” project call. The mobile application is produced by Manatour, operating commercially under the name of The Overlap Factory, on behalf of the Commune of Houffalize. All the contents published on the mobile application are the exclusive property of the Commune of Houffalize, or of third parties from whom it has obtained the exploitation rights. The term "content" is understood as follows: any type of information, work, text, video, sound, music, animation, photograph or image contained in the application and, in general, any contribution that is subject to protection under the provisions of the Intellectual Property Code.

In application of the intellectual property code (CPI), any reproduction or representation, partial or total, of the application is strictly forbidden without prior written authorization from the Commune of Houffalize, unless legal exceptions.

Trademarks:  A certain number of trademarks, logos or any other distinctive sign (collectively referred to as trademarks) are represented in the application. The trademarks owned by the Commune of Houffalize and Manatour, as well as those of third parties, including their partners, sponsors and patrons are protected by copyright. Nothing contained in the mobile applications may be used, added to or exploited in any form without the prior written consent of the rights holder.

Data relating to the terminal and connection to the Application:  Data relating to the user's connection parameters and terminal, collected or processed when using the Application, are intended for the Publisher, its subcontractors and partners, located in and outside the European Union, in order to ensure the proper functioning of the Application, to improve the services offered on the Application and to adapt the display of the content of the Application to the user's terminal parameters.

Responsibility:  Every effort is made in the elaboration of the contents, however, the Commune of Houffalize cannot be considered responsible, guaranteeing, explicitly or tacitly, the accuracy of the contents that may be created as well as the use that will be made of them by the users of the mobile application.

Furthermore, the Commune of Houffalize is not responsible for the use, by users, of the information they may find on the application.

Manatour undertakes to implement all necessary means to ensure the best possible provision of the services it offers through the application. Manatour shall not be held liable in case of force majeure or any other event beyond its control, in particular in case of interruption of the service resulting from a failure of the telephone network or of the user's Internet access provider.
